Looking for a bite to eat. Some of the GBH nesting pairs already have chicks, but others are still working on their nests. The young will generally be cared for and fed by the parents for 49-81 days.

  6. It was terrific seeing all the breeding behavior of the GBHs here, BJ. I especially liked the second photo of the courtship dance. So wonderful we still have these beautiful waders reproducing on our planet. Great post, BJ.
