Just paying a little tribute to some OTHER, delightful friends I see every day in the Wetland preserves ~!Red-bellied Turtle baby trying to keep up with Mama!
This Raccoon forgot to go back to bed! Scurrying off for one last taste of breakfast this morning.
“Even though I admit to looking quite intimidating, I swear, I’m a vegetarian and I really LOVE this grass,” said the Iguana.
A chubby little Pig Frog has nestled into his own private pool in a big lily pad.
I know, you’re probably thinking that this American Alligator has a slightly menacing look in his eyes. If I wasn’t safely three feet above him on the boardwalk, I’d probably think he was a little too close for comfort.
All beautiful pics Lee, I especially like the turtles!

I’m so lucky to live close enough to get out there almost daily, and sometimes in both morning after late afternoon.
