It was only 50 degrees on my morning walk today – definitely much chillier than usual here in Southeast Florida!
Everyone was bundled up, including this Tri-colored Heron, snug in his winter overcoat!

No, I’m in Winter Springs (just NE of Orlando). I’ve been to the Circle B a few times but it’s about a 2 hour drive for me. I need to go again.

It’s one of our favorite places, even though it takes us over three hours to get there. Definitely worth the trip. ☺️

Amazing how one’s perspective on the weather changes depending on what one is used to, Sue. When I lived in NY I also thought 50 was downright spring-like! ☺️

He does look a little chilled, doesn’t he? No wonder we don’t have any Green Herons in Colorado in winter. They would have to wear another down coat on top of theirs. 🙂
