Yes…. And I never really noticed till this year that their legs are black with sort of yellow stripe. I always thought they were just solid black with yellow feet. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Fantastic photo, BJ. I love how the water ripple bends the reflection’s bill. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thank you so much, Deborah. Beautiful bird! I wish you a lovely nature-filled weekend. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thank you! I had a lovely morning birding with a great look at a Cooper’s Hawk and we found a Raven’s nest. That was fun. I am doing a gull ID workshop in the morning. I hope I learn something to make it easier to ID them! I hope you have a lovely nature filled week-end as well. LikeLiked by 1 person

I so appreciate your thoughts, AB. I also love the quiet reflections when the water and light are just right. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply

A wonderful combination of bird, water and sky. All perfectly reflected. Spring is almost upon us! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Excellent capture with that reflection, Carol! I love how the Snowies often look a bit discombobulated, feathers every which way. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thanks! Good way to describe it, Ellen. Yes, that stylish wind-blown look!😉 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
We’ll have to reflect on why pictures with reflections are often so pleasing. Is it because we’re getting two for the price of one, so to speak? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Hmmm… that certainly seems like a logical reason for it! But it’s certainly a subject worth looking into further… LikeLike Reply
