These Cormorants are just irresistible. You can see at least one, calm as can be, relaxing along the boardwalk, almost every time you walk at Green Cay, a constructed Wetlands near my home.
They seem to love the attention and ‘posing’ for strolling photographers of every type. You just have to watch out if you stand directly behind the bird. Be forewarned!! ……. if you know what I mean.😉

I confess they can seem rather unremarkable most of the year, but when their eyes show off their turquoise beauty like this, it changes their whole look!
