With plumage white, like purest snow, ❄️ They wade in waters, a rhythmic flow. 🌊 Long-legged dancers, in the morning light, ☀️ A symphony of wings, taking flight.
Their beaks like spears, poised to strike, 🎯 In the shallows, where fish alike. 🐟 Can’t get enough of this egret ballet, 💚 Nature’s performance, day by day.
Great Egrets, a sight to adore, 👀 In wetland havens, along the shore. 🏞️ Marching gracefully, in water so clear, 🚶♂️ Can’t get enough of the beauty here. 🌅
Ooh, stunning photograph – a real beauty! The green really pops in the combination with the black, white and duller yellow and perfectly frames the eye. I’ve been listening to art lessons about colour on the net and this is such a perfect example. I love it!

The babies have been hatching in many of the nests. We’re so lucky they like our wetlands.☺️
